BC(Base curve) of contact lenses

BC of a color contacts

The BC (base curve) of a contact lens is a number that represents the degree of curvature. The higher the value of the BC(base curve), the flatter the lens; the lower the value, the more curved the lens is.

Since the shape of people's eyes subtly varies from person to person, it is important to use a product that fits the shape of the eye when using contact lenses.

If you use lenses with an incorrect BC (base curve), you may experience different levels of vision even with the same prescription, feel discomfort, or have blurred vision. Please get an eye examination to check for the correct BC!
